Pockets of Peace takes pride in having a comprehensive recruitment policy and procedures that involve thorough evaluations of all new hires. We take a just and unbiased approach. All members of our larger community can access our adverts, thanks to our efforts. Our hiring process is divided into six steps, including:
• Application
• Assessment and Interviewing
• Identity/credentials verification/checks,
• Disclosure and Barring Service checks
• References (personal and professional/employment)
• Confirmation of offer
Candidates must name at least one personal reference who will offer a written recommendation. Additionally, candidates will be required to submit at least one professional or employment reference, and we will only accept references on firm letterhead with full contact information (or those of their line manager in case they are not head of services). Upon receiving written recommendations, we may get in touch with the referees by phone.
